The Cure Codexery — Data & Quality

We publish our audit record because accuracy claims should be checkable. Every entry on this site runs through an automated fact-audit pipeline (accuracy audit → source-grounded repair → visual QA); this page is generated from that pipeline's own report, not written by hand.

This is a fiction/fan codex: entries describe an in-universe canon. Our audits check canon and internal consistency — external fact-checking does not apply the way it does on real-subject codexes.

Recent findings (audit lane, verbatim)

Just Like Heaven — The B-side of 'Just Like Heaven' is 'Breathe', but it was originally recorded during the sessions for 'The Top' and first released as the B-side to 'The Lovecats' in 1983, not during the 'Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me' sessions.

Just Like Heaven — The music video was filmed at Beachy Head, not Seven Sisters cliffs.

Pictures of You — The B-sides on the 'Pictures of You' single were not live versions of 'Last Dance' and 'Prayers for Rain'; they were studio versions.

Boys Don't Cry — The B-side of the original 1979 single 'Boys Don't Cry' was 'Plastic Passion', but the correct B-side is actually 'I Want to Be Old' (or 'I Want to Be Old'/'10:15 Saturday Night' on some pressings).

Lovesong — Adele's cover of 'Lovesong' was included on her album '21', not '19'.

Faith — 'Primary' is not the only single from the album; 'The Hanging Garden' was also released as a single from 'Faith' in the UK and other territories.

Reading Festival 1984 — The Top was released on 22 April 1984 in the UK, not May.
